primigravidae/multigravidae with singleton pregnancy with gestational age of 16 weeks to 20 weeks who are previously normotensive.

Exclusion Criteria

chronic hypertension

gestational diabetes milletus

multiple pregnancies

antenatal women with congenital anomalies

gestational trophoblastic diseases

PREDICTION OF PREGNANCY INDUCED HYPERTENSION BY MATERNAL SERUM BETA HCG LEVELS IN SECOND TRIMESTERTimepoint: Base line bp recorded and beta Hcg sample taken between 16weeks - 20weeks followed by every 4 weeks till 28weeks then fortnightly till 34 weeks followed by weekly till the time of delivery
