Inclusion Criteria

Patients aged older than 60 years undergoing primary hip hemiarthroplasty for fracture neck of femur

Exclusion Criteria

- high energy trauma
- pathological fracture
- contraindication for tranexamic acid
- accidentally intraoperative fracture require revision femoral stem
- acetabulum pathology require covert to total hip arthroplasty
- bleeding disorder
