1.Adult patients aged 18 - 65 years.
2.ASA grade I to grade III
3.Patients posted for elective craniotomy
1.Patients with ASA grade IV or more
2. Patients with Glasgow coma score(GCS) less than 13
3. Patients allergic to local anaesthetic agents
4. Patients scheduled for aneurysm clipping surgery.
5. Patients with history of opioid use.
6. Patients unable to communicate and comprehend NRS scale.
7. Patients planned for elective post operative ventilatory support.
8. Any patient requiring re-intubation within first 24 hours will also be excluded.
