First consultation for sore throat =14 days or (f. ex. in young children) the main signs in the pharynx suggesting an infection
- patient aged = 2 years
- patient moderately or severely affected
- sore throat, but only light impairment
- other concurrent illness requring antibiotic treatment
- running antibiotic therapy
- (suspected) quinzy
- (suspected) scarlet fever
- history or family history of Acute Rheumatic Fever
- consuming disease or suppression of the immune system
- insufficent knowledge of the German language
