ASA I or II class
Apfel score of 2 or more (moderate to high risk patients)
Posted for surgeries expected to be completed in 4 hours or less
Exclusion Criteria
Pregnancy
Patients requiring Ryleâ??s tube
Anticipated difficult airway
Surgeries that can result in entry of blood into stomach
Patients in who succinylcholine is contraindicated
