- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To compare the effect of IV esmolol & IV lidocaine on hemodynamic variables heart rate (HR), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), mean arterial presuure (MAP) and saturation (SpO2) during extubationTimepoint: Baseline (before administration of reversal agent), post administration of reversal agent (TR), post administration of study drug (T0- after 1 minute of administering reversal agent), for every minute for the first 5 minutes post administration of study drug (T1 to T5), 7 minutes after administering study drug (T7) and finally at 10 minutes (T10). Time of extubation will also be noted.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To study the side effect of study drugs if anyTimepoint: 1st 6 hours post surgery
