入选标准
- •Age ≥ 18 years.
- •Both sexes.
- •American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) physical status I-III.
- •Scheduled for open thoracotomy.
排除标准
- •Patients with neurological or intellectual disability.
- •Infection at the injection site.
- •Opioid addiction.
- •Allergic reaction to local anesthetics.
- •Coagulation abnormalities.
- •Drug abuse.
- •Pregnancy.
- •Severe liver and/or renal failure.
- •Severe cardiovascular problems.
研究组 & 干预措施
Group K
Patients will receive 29 ml bupivacaine 0.25% + 1 ml ketamine (50 mg) as a study group.
干预措施: Ketamine (Drug)
Group C
Patients will receive 29 ml bupivacaine 0.25% + 1 ml saline as a control group.
干预措施: 29 ml bupivacaine 0.25% + 1 ml saline (Drug)
结局指标
主要结局
Time to the 1st rescue analgesia
时间窗: 48 hours postoperatively
Time to the first request for the rescue analgesia will be recorded from end of surgery to first dose of morphine administrated.
次要结局
- Intraoperative fentanyl consumption(Intraoperatively)
- Total morphine consumption(48 hours postoperatively)
- Mean arterial pressure(Till the end of surgery (Up to 2 hours))
- Degree of pain(48 hours postoperatively)
- Heart rate(Till the end of surgery (Up to 2 hours))
- Incidence of adverse events(48 hours postoperatively)
