Inclusion Criteria
Primigravida patients with term, singleton pregnancy undergoing caesarean section will be included
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients refusing consent.
2. Patients with multifetal gestation.
3. Multigravida patients.
4. Patients with antepartum haemorhhage.
5. Patients with any known coagulation disorders, hepatic, renal, cardiac disorder.
6. Patients developing PPH where etiology is other than being atonic.
7. Patients with any known allergy/ found allergic to oxytocin or carbetocin.
