- •Age above 60 years
- •Undergoing craniotomy under general anaesthesia
- •Requiring intraoperative osmotherapy
- •Asa 1 and 2
排除标准
- •Consent refusal
- •Contraindications to insert transoesophageal echocardiography probe : osephageal surgery, strictures
- •Patients with coronary artery disease/valvular heart disease
- •Patients with end organ dysfunction
- •Patients with hypo/hypernatremia and treated with mannitol or hypertonic saline in the previous 24hrs
