1) BMI of 25 to 29.9 kg/m2 (11), 2) no prior experience in the practice of Thai yoga, 3) non-smoker, 4) no significant neuromuscular and cardiovascular disease, 5) no muscle or joint problems that could limit participation in the program or the testing, and 6) willing and able to commit to the 8-week program.
1) currently physically active (moderate/vigorous levels of exercise > 150 minutes/week) and 2) having high risk of falling as determined by the Berg Balance Scale (BBS) (<41 points) (12).
