Inclusion Criteria

clinical findings and spirometry interpretations consistent with diagnosis of bronchial asthma.

Exclusion Criteria

hospitalization during past 4 weeks

patients with other respiratory and syatemic diseases other than allergic rhinitis and GERD

pregnant,lactating and postmenopausal females

history of intake of vitamin d and calcium in past 1 month

diagnosis of osteoporosis and other diseses involving viatmin d in calcium metabolism

history of renal disorders,thyroidectomy and liver disorders
