Inclusion Criteria

1. Patients/Relatives of the patients (when the patient is not in a position to give consent or not oriented to time, place or person) who give informed consent for participation in the study.

2. Treatment-naive patients

3. Symptomatic necrotic pancreatic collections deemed suitable for percutaneous drainage by the treating clinician

4. Availability of a safe bowel-free approach

Exclusion Criteria

1. Previous drainage or surgery for confirmed or suspected infected necrosis

2. Pancreatitis caused by abdominal surgery or endoscopy

3. Acute Pancreatic Fluid Collections and Pseudocysts

4. Coagulopathy or thrombocytopenia

5. Not willing to participate in the study

6. Underlying malignancy
