Inclusion Criteria
Adult subjects with KDIGO stage 3 AKI who recover completely to serum creatinine of <50% of baseline.
Exclusion Criteria
Underlying chronic kidney disease
Pregnant or breast-feeding women
Active Malignancy
AKI secondary to obstruction
AKI due to glomerular diseases
Patients in whom AKI is a part of systemic disease affecting kidneys ex- Systemic sclerosis, systemic lupus erythematosus, etc
Patients taking Renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system blockers at 1 month after recovery from AKI
