Inclusion Criteria
every patient admitted to Main ICU will be included in this study.
Exclusion Criteria
1.age <18 year.
2.death or discharge within 48 hours of admission
3.known case of chronic kidney disease(CKD).
4.post renal transplant patients
5.patients in whom IVC can not be measured.

Name Time Method acute kidney in injury, defined by KDIGO criteria as any of the following. <br/ ><br>1.rise in serum creatinine by 0.3mg/dl or more in 48 hours. <br/ ><br>2.rise in serum creatinine to 1.5 times baseline or more in last 7 days. <br/ ><br>3.urine output less than 0.5 ml/kg/h for 6 hours.Timepoint: acute kidney in injury, defined by KDIGO criteria as any of the following. <br/ ><br>1.rise in serum creatinine by 0.3mg/dl or more in 48 hours. <br/ ><br>2.rise in serum creatinine to 1.5 times baseline or more in last 7 days <br/ ><br>3.urine output 0.5 ml/kg/h for 6 hours.
