- •1.All individuals between 18years and 70years of both the genders with and without type 2 diabetes Mellitus
- •2. Patients who are undergoing elective surgeries under general Anesthesia
- •3. American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status I,II and III

- •1. Patient not willing to participate
- •2. Obstetric patients
- •3. Patients on chronic steroid therapy
- •4. History of dexamethaone allergy
- •5. History of peptic ulcer disease
- •6. Hepatorenal dysfunction
- •7. Malignancy
