This study compares nebulized magnesium sulfate and nebulized lignocaine to see which better to control heart rate ,blood pressure ,mean arterial pressure and spo2 , when they get a tube put into trachea and ventilated during surgery.

Patients aged between 18 and 60 years,
American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II
Mallampati grading I to II,
Patients who are undergoing elective surgery requiring endotracheal intubation
Patient refusal
Patient belonging to ASA physical status 3 or 4
Patient with known hypersensitivity to lignocaine or magnesium sulphate
Body mass index more than 30kg/m2
history of cardiovascular diseases like ischaemic heart disease and uncontrolled hypertension
Mallampati grading 3 or4
