)Periodontitis patient in the age group of 19-65yrs of both the gender,diagnosed based on A new classification scheme for periodontal and periâ??implant diseases and conditions â?? Introduction and key changes from the 1999 classification.6
2) Full mouth plaque scores(PI <1.5)7and full mouthbleeding score (FMBS 15%)8at the time of enrolment.
3) Etiological periodontal therapy completedat least 3 months prior to the screening.
4) Presence of one natural tooth having avertical defect with residual probingDepth(PD) > 6 mm and radiographicintrabony component > 3mm and radiographic angle of defect >37 degree.

3) Systemic diseases affecting periodontal healing.
4) Pregnancy and lactation.
5) History of periodontal surgery or prosthetic restorations at the experimental teeth.
6) Clinical evidenceof furcation defects at the surgical site.
7) Teethwhich are pathologicallymobile.
8)Non vital teeth or trauma from occlusion.
