Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •)Periodontitis patient in the age group of 19\-65yrs of both the gender,diagnosed based on A new classification scheme for periodontal and periâ??implant diseases and conditions â?? Introduction and key changes from the 1999 classification.6
- •2\) Full mouth plaque scores(PI \<1\.5\)7and full mouthbleeding score (FMBS 15%)8at the time of enrolment.
- •3\) Etiological periodontal therapy completedat least 3 months prior to the screening.
- •4\) Presence of one natural tooth having avertical defect with residual probingDepth(PD) \> 6 mm and radiographicintrabony component \> 3mm and radiographic angle of defect \>37 degree.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Smoking habits
- •2\) Contraindications for periodontal therapy
- •3\) Systemic diseases affecting periodontal healing.
- •4\) Pregnancy and lactation.
- •5\) History of periodontal surgery or prosthetic restorations at the experimental teeth.
- •6\) Clinical evidenceof furcation defects at the surgical site.
- •7\) Teethwhich are pathologicallymobile.
- •8\)Non vital teeth or trauma from occlusion.
