Inclusion Criteria

1.Age 20-80 years
2.Moderate to severe degree CTS by electrodiagnostic study
3.Willing to participate in the study

Exclusion Criteria

1.Electrodiagnosis reveals : Absent SNAP, absent CMAP or CMAP amplitude <5 mV
2.History of treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome by steroid injection < 6 months, physical modalities within 1 month, using NSAIDs drug within 2 week, using wrist splint within 3 month or had already underwent carpal tunnel surgery
3.Contraindication for peripheral magnetic stimulation : Pregnancy, Active malignancy, Epilepsy, Pacemaker, Intracranial/spinal metal object, Cochlear implant, History of wrist fracture at affected side, DVT at affected arm
4.Diagnosed as cervical radiculopathy, polyneuropathy, inflammatory rheumatoid, diabetes neuropathy or poor controlled diabetes mellitus
5.Cannot tolerate the wrist splint
6.Severe perception and communication impairment
