入选标准
- •1. Patients of age - 15 years and above.
- •2. Patients with Isolated blunt chest trauma requiring closed tube thoracostomy.
排除标准
- •1.Penetrating chest injuries.
- •2.Associated injuries requiring antibiotic administration.
- •3.Patient requiring ventilator support.
- •4.Known pulmonary disease/ Immuno-compromised patients.
- •5.Patient with chest trauma requiring open thoracotomy.
- •6.Those already on antibiotics for some other injuries/illness.
- •7.Patients who will not give consent.
