Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
This study evaluates the change of airway resistance 30 minutes after salbutamol inhalation and prior use of electrical chest impedance tomography (EIT) for optimization of the respirator setting
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Before and 30 minutes after salbutamol inhalation:
- Changes made in respirator setting under EIT: Pinsp, PEEP, inspiration-expiration-ration, inspiratory time, respiratory rate, ventilation mode)
- assessment of changes in tidal volume, alveolar pressures, compliance, arterial oxygen partial pressure (paO2), Horovitz index, arterial carbon dioxide partial pressure (paCO2), peripheral and arterial oxygen saturation, lower and upper inflection point of the pressure-volume curve,
- Region of Interest (ROI), end-expiratory trend (deltaEELI)

30-day mortality
mechanical ventilation
duration of ICU treatment
Hospital treatment period
resumption rate on IC
