Inclusion Criteria

Patients aged between 18 to 60 years of ASA physical status I and II with informed written consent posted for elective thyroid surgeries will be included in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

Patient refusal

-GI bleeding disorder

- Allergy or sensitive to ketorolac, aspirin, or other NSAID

- Severe Cardiac,Renal, Hepatic insufficiency

- Coagulopathy, Severe bronchial asthma.

-Radiotherapy

-Previous analgesic and anti inflammatory treatment.

-Neurological alteration.

- Pregnancy n lactation

-Primary outcome of this study will be the efficacy of I V ketorolac vs wound instillation with ketorolac on reducing post operative pain using VAS score in post operative patients for thyroid surgery and requirement of rescue analgesics along with haemodynamic changes and anxiety.0,4,12,24hrsTimepoint: 24hrs

Incidence of side effects including nausea, vomiting shivering post op bleeding. <br/ ><br>Incidence of nausea and vomiting estimated at 0,4 ,12 and 24hrs <br/ ><br>For severe nausea and episodes of vomiting , I V administration of ondansetron 4mg will be given as a rescue anti emetic. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 24hrs
