·Age 18-70 years·tobacco dependence (= 10 cigarettes per day for at least one year; Minimum score of = 3 in Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence
·CO = 10ppm; ·Participation in treatment-as-usual (rauchfrei program)·within the 3 months prior to study participation, no consumption of nicotine replacement therapy, pharmacological nicotine substitution
·informed consent
willingness to abstain from nicotine replacement therapy, e-cigarettes and other interventions during study participation
Age < 18 and > 70 years
Substance dependency (except nicotine) within the last year
Severe psychiatric disorder (bipolar disorder lifetime, schizophrenia lifetime)
Acute suicidal tendencies
Severe cardiovascular disease
Pregnancy or lactation
Nicotine replacement therapy
use of e-cigarettes or other smoke-free tobacco products
