Patients with type 2 diabetes who have painful lower extremity nephropathy for at least 3 months
Age between 70 and 30 years
Do not take pomegranate pills.
Do not have severe physical, neurological or psychiatric illness.
Do not become pregnant or breast-feeding.
Severe sensitivity to pomegranate pills
Severe grade 4 heart failure or unstable angina
HbA1c greater than or equal to 8.5
