Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Is there a difference between pre- and postoperative activity of the plasma butyrylcholinesterase in cardio surgical patients?
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
1. Is the activity of butyrylcholinesterase in the group of patients, who later develop delirium, already reduced pre-operatively, compared to those who do not?
2. Is delirium more frequent in patients, whose butyrylcholinesterase-activity decreases after surgery?
3. Can the pre- or postoperative activity of butyrylcholinesterase serve as a risk factor of delirium?
4. Are differences between patients being operated on with or without cardiopulmonary bypass?
