Inclusion Criteria

clinical indication to perform a coronary CT angiography

Exclusion Criteria

Atrial fibrillation, the inability to perform a 30-s-breathhold, acute coronary syndrome within 14 days of either procedure, high-degree atrioventricular block, hypotension with a systolic blood pressure < 90 mm Hg, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or decompensated congestive heart failure (NYHA Classification III or IV), history of allergy to iodinated contrast material, history of active hyperthyroidism among patients older than 60 years of age, serum creatinine levels greater than 1.5 mg/dL (132.6 µmol/L) and pregnancy or breastfeeding
