1 Post traumatic pouring wounds
2 Wound is greater than 2cm wide
3 Wound has been freshly debrided
4 Patients eligibility of NPWT in the opinion of the treating physician
5 Wound produces high levels of exudates
6 Patient has been maximally medically stabilized eg nutrition blood pressure blood
glucose fluid balance infection etc
1 Pregnancy
2 Simultaneous participation of patients in another interventional study
3 Untreated osteitis or osteomyelitis
4 Not examined / unexplored fistula
5 Malignancy of the wound
6 Exposed nerves blood vessels anastomotic site

Name Time Method To demonstrate the efficacy of Vacon in the <br/ ><br>treatment of post traumatic wounds in relation to <br/ ><br>healing time when the wound will <br/ ><br>be assigned â??ready for surgical therapy/graftingâ?? or â??completely closedâ?? based on the clinical <br/ ><br>wound evaluation in combination with the formation of healthy, granulating tissue.Timepoint: Day 4th 8th 12th and 16th <br/ ><br>Every 4th day till the wound is completely closed or ready for surgical grafting.
