American Society of Anaesthesiologists Physical Status Grade I or II,
Body weight between 40 - 70 kg,
Normal Airway (Mallampati Grade I or II,
Posted for elective surgery requiring general anaesthesia and endotracheal intubation.
American Society of Anaesthesiologists Physical Status Grade III and above,
Obesity (BMI greater than 25),
Mallampati Grade III or IV,
History of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, inadequate fasting,
any known or anticipated difficult tracheal intubation or face mask ventilation

Name Time Method To compare the first attempt success of endotracheal intubation over ventilating bougie through I-gel either through blind approach or by busing ultrasound guided method.Timepoint: Till 5 minutes after endotracheal intubation
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method umber of attempts and time for insertion of I-gel, number of attempts and time for insertion for ventilating bougie, total intubation time, hemodynamics upto 5 minutes after endotracheal intubation and adverse events.Timepoint: Immediate post op period upto 2 hours
