- •1. ASA physical status i-iii
- •2. Age group of 18-70
- •3.BMI < 30
- •4. Candidates posted for upper abdominal surgeries and surgical duration expected to exceed beyond 2 hours
排除标准
- •1.Mechanical ventilation of > 1 hour within the last 2 weeks before surgery
- •2. Body mass index ââ?°Â¥ 35 kg/m2
- •3. Acute respiratory failure (pneumonia, acute lung injury or acute respiratory distress syndrome)
- •- Emergency surgery
- •- Sepsis or septic shock
- •- Progressive neuromuscular illness
- •- Intra-thoracic surgery
- •- Pregnancy
- •- Orbital tumors
- •- Optic neuritis
- •- Glaucoma
- •- Refusal to participate
