Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\) Patient with age \>18 years.
- •2\) Patients fulfilling the institutional guidelines for prophylactic platelet transfusion.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\)Patients on drugs known to cause thrombocytopenia or platelet dysfunction eg. Vancomycin,
- •Amphotericin B, Aspirin.
- •2\) Patientâ??s having immune and non\-immune causes of platelet refractoriness like fever, sepsis,
- •bleeding, DIC, splenomegaly.
