Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Adult patients of either sex, aged 18 to 65 years.
  • •2\. Patients belonging to the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Grade 1 and 2\.
  • •3\. Patients scheduled for transcranial craniotomy for meningioma excision.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Any patient/guardian refusing to provide consent to participate in the study
  • •2\.Loss to follow up of the patients for 3 months.
  • •3\.Patients with a history of blood transfusion within the last three months.
  • •4\.Patients with pre\-existing significant systemic diseases like hepatic or renal diseases, leukemias, etc.
  • •5\.Patients with significant coagulopathies or hematological abnormality, those on anticoagulants, or with deranged International Normalised Ratio (INR).
  • •6\.Patients with recurrent tumors posted for re\-do surgery.
  • •7\.Patients with a history of embolization
  • •8\.Patients posted for endoscopic excision of the tumor
  • •9\.ASA grade 3 and 4 patients
