Inclusion Criteria

All patients recorded in the liver database of the Department of Visceral, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery who underwent liver resection (regardless of underlying diagnosis) in the UKD (VTG) from 2013-2021.

- Univariate and multivariate analysis to identify risk factors for morbidity, mortality, and reoperation rates, as well as long-term oncologic outcome and the need for blood transfusion<br>- Comparative subgroup analysis between patients with and without perioperative blood transfusion after liver surgery<br>- Kaplan-Meier analysis of overall and recurrence-free survival
