Inclusion criteria for cases ââ?¬â?? Male, female or alternative genders from the age group of
18-25 years, who have symptoms of BPD as per MSI-BPD (score of 7 or higher) and clinical
interview, who can read, write and speak English.
Inclusion criteria for controls ââ?¬â?? Male, female or alternative genders from the age group
of 18-25 years, who do not have symptoms of BPD as per MSI-BPD (score of 3 or lower), who can
read, write and speak English.
Inclusion criteria for in depth interview - Participants with BPD symptoms already
recruited for the study who have complex trauma as determined by Childhood experience of
care and abuse questionnaire (CECA Q). Only those who are verbally expressive, consenting and
undergoing therapy will be recruited.
Exclusion criteria for cases - Participants with self reported major psychiatric illness as
determined by Modified Mini Screen (MMS) and clinical information data sheet (Psychosis,
Mood disorders and substance abuse except tobacco abuse).
