Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients of age \>\=18 years with one or more acrochordons.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients with skin diseases known to be associated with metabolic syndrome such as psoriasis, vitiligo, acanthosis nigricans (AN), lichen planus (LP) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
- •2\. Patients with history of endocrine diseases like cushing syndrome, acromegaly, pheochromocytoma, hyperthyroidism, glucagonoma.
- •3\. Patients with a history of isotretinoin use in last six months.
- •4\. Patients with family history of diabetes, hypertension and familial hyperlipidemia.
- •5\. Pregnant woman.
- •6\. Patients on drugs that are known to cause hyperglycemia, hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
- •7\. Patients with history of smoking and alcohol use.
