Patients of both genders; periapical bone rarefaction visible on radiography; without previous endodontic treatment, under conditions that justify the endodontic treatment; without systemic alterations, such as chronic degenerative diseases, infectious processes, autoimmune diseases or induced or acquired immunodeficiencies; absence of antibiotics in the 90 days prior to the beginning of the research
teeth with a periodontal pocket greater than 4 mm; roots with a length of less than 15 mm or greater than 25 mm; incomplete apicigenesis; loss of dental tissue that prevents absolute isolation, or root canal alterations, calcifications or resorptions.
