Inclusion Criteria
1 Patients who provide consent
2 American Society of Anaesthesiologists Grade 1 and 2
3 Modified Mallampati Grade 1 and 2
4 Duration of surgery between 30 minutes to 120 minutes
5 Patients undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia with single lumen oro-tracheal intubation
Exclusion Criteria
1 Patient already with upper respiratory tract infection
2 Patient on steroid therapy
3 History of asthma, COPD
4 Difficult airway intubation
5 Awake intubation
6 Retrograde intubation technique
