1. Mallampatti score I & II (Airway assessment to assess the mouth opening)
2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical status I & II
3. Patient scheduled for surgery under general anaesthesia with orotracheal intubation in supine position.
4. Those who were to remain in the hospital for at least 24 hours postoperatively.
1. Patients posted for emergency surgeries.
2. Patients undergoing oral cavity surgery, cervical spine surgery and thyroid surgery.
3. Patients requiring a nasogastric tube.
4. History of perioperative sore throat.

Name Time Method To determine the efficacy of Lidocaine hydrochloride10% & Benzydamine Hydrochloride 0.15% spray on Endotracheal tube cuff in reducing postoperative sore throat.Timepoint: The time from the starting of intubation till extubation (about 4 hours)
