- •2 American Society of Anaesthesiologists Grade 1 and 2
- •3 Modified Mallampati Grade 1 and 2
- •4 Duration of surgery between 30 minutes to 120 minutes
- •5 Patients undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia with single lumen oro-tracheal intubation

- •1 Patient already with upper respiratory tract infection
- •2 Patient on steroid therapy
- •3 History of asthma, COPD
- •4 Difficult airway intubation
- •5 Awake intubation
- •6 Retrograde intubation technique
