Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Histology â?? squamous cell carcinoma.17
- •Stage III, IV A and IV B.
- •Previously untreated patients.
- •Hb \> 10gm%.
- •Pre\-treated leucocyte count of \> 4000/cu mm.
- •Platelet count \> 100,000/cu mm.
- •Normal renal and liver function tests.
- •Karnofsky performance status αα\>\= 70\.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Histology other than squamous cell carcinoma.
- •Sites other than oropharynx, hypopharynx, and larynx.
- •Age \> 70yrs.
- •Deranged RFT / LFT.
- •Previous treatment with RT/ Chemotherapy.
- •Any prior/ synchronous malignancy.
- •Hypersensitivity to platinum agents.
- •Lymph nodes extending behind the spinal cord.
- •Karnofsky performance status \< 70\.
- •Distant metastasis
