Inclusion Criteria

ASA Grade 1 And 2

Patient undergoing Surgery under General Anaesthesia following Endotracheal intubation

Exclusion Criteria

Patient with preoperative sore throat,upper respiratory tract infection,COPD ,bronchial asthma.

Patient undergoing oral surgeries,head & neck sugeries

Allergy to any one or both studyong drugs

current use of corticosteroids or NSAIDS

immunocompromised patient /long term use of immunosuppressants

patient with risk factor for post operative aspiration.ex.obese and diabetec patients

>1 attempt of intubation

Mallampatti grade >2

patient with preoperative cough,preoperative hoarseness of voice
