Inclusion Criteria
American Society of Anesthesiology physical status 1and 2 undergoing elective TURP surgery under spinal anaesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
Patients refusal to participate in the study
Patients with atrioventricular block, cardiac arrhythmias ,renal failure, uncontrolled hypertension, ischaemic heart disease,cardiac failure.
Any contraindications to neuraxial anaesthesia.
Documented allergy to drugs.
Failed spinal anaesthesia.

Name Time Method To compare the effect of prophylactic Glycopyrrolate vs Ondansetron in preventing intraoperative incidence of post spinal hypotension in patients undergoing TURP as against controls receiving placeboTimepoint: Vitals will be monitored and recorded intraoperatively every 2 minutes for first 10 minutes, then every 5 minutes for next 30 minutes and every 15 minutes till the end of the surgery.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To determine the time of onset of hypotension and total amount of intravenous ephedrine used to treat the hypotension.Timepoint: Vitals will be monitored and recorded intraoperatively every 2 minutes for first 10 minutes, then every 5 minutes for next 30 minutes and every 15 minutes till the end of the surgery.
