coronary arterial disease that required elective
coronary arterial bypass grafting operation without any exclusion criteria between August 2008
and Febuary 2012
Sick sinus syndrome
2nd or 3rd degree atrioventricular block
history of AF
any other surgical procedure during the current admissio
Q-wave myocardial infarction in the preceding 6 weeks
Ongoing treatment with amiodarone, digoxin or warfarin
Permanent pacemaker implantation
Valvular regurgitation
Renal failure (serum creatinine > 2.0)
Preoperative serum magnesium level > 4.0 mEq/dl
