Patients with gastrointestinal disorders such as functional dyspepsia, bloating, loose stool, and diarrhea, who were diagnosed with small intestinal bacterial overgrowth by positive glucose breath test
1. Patients who are taking a gastric acid secretion inhibitor
2. Patients who have taken antibiotics within three months
3. Patients whose have diagnosed with recurred cancer, stenosis, or organic obstruction by endoscopy or upper gastrointestinal series
4. Patients who have undergone gastrointestinal surgery other than stomach surgery (except appendectomy)
5. Within the last 15 days, a disease or lesion, which could affect the motor function, has been found to be associated with gastrointestinal symptoms (gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, esophageal cancer, enteritis, colitis, etc.)
6. Patients who have a disease that has a signifincant impact on this study (e.g. creatinine > 3.0mg/dl, severe liver disease)
7. Patients who are taking drugs that may affect the gastrointestinal function evaluation, such as narcotics, probiotics, and anti-diarrheal medications (except those who have more than seven days of rest).
