Brief Summary

The present study is clinically controlled trial to test the efficacy of rate of tooth movement on application of low level laser therapy. The study design would be Split mouth technique. Semi conductor diode laser ( Ga Al As) of wavelength 980nm at power of 0.1W in 15 samples and 0.02W in another 15 samples, for time duration of 10 seconds will be applied to the patients in contact with mucosa and in continuous mode. Laser application will be done after the leveling and alignment will be completed. Irradiations will be given in the canine region on the cervical 1/3rd, middle 1/3rd and apical 1/3rd on the experimental side and on the control side light cure unit will be applied.

Inclusion Criteria

Inclusion criteria- •Age range-15-25 years •Both male and female will be included •No systemic disease •Bilateral premolar extraction •No radiographic bone loss.

Exclusion Criteria

Exclusion criteria- •Overjet> 10mm •Bone disease •Extreme skeletal Class II malocclusion •Systemic use of corticosteroids.
