Inclusion Criteria

Age more than 18 years
Type 2 diabetes mellitus
Estimated GFR with CKD-EPI equation more than 15 mL/min/1.73 m2
All patients gave their informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

AKI within 12 weeks
Pregnancy
Life expectancy < 1 year
Unwillingness to participate in the study
History of renal, solid-organ, or bone marrow transplantation
