Inclusion Criteria

INCLUSION CRITERIA-

1. Patients with classical features of Gridhrasi , namely pain over the Sphik (waist), Kati (back), Prisht (thigh) , Uru ( hip ) , Janu (knee) , Jangha (calf region ), extending upto Pada ( foot) , Stambh (stiffness ) , Toda ( pricking pain ), tingling & numbness of limbs, difficulty in walking etc. will be included .

2. Patients with SLR test +ve, patients with chronicity of disease over at least 6month. 3. Age group: 31- 60 years

4. Socioeconomic Status: All

5. Sex: Both Male and Female

Exclusion Criteria

EXCLUSION CRITERIA-

1.Cases of Spondylolisthesis, Sacroiliac arthritis, Herpese simplex infection causing radiating pain .

2.Tuberculoma, or any cyst compressing the nerve root, diabetic neuropathies will be excluded.

3. People of Paittik constitution, where Agnikarma is contraindicated.

4. Debilated patients, child patients below 31 years of age and greater than 60 years of age , patients affected with multiple wounds , cases with destructed vertebral bodies & fractures of the vertebra will be excluded

5. Patient with history of trauma causing fractures.

6. Infective conditions and tuberculosis of the spine.

7. Neoplastic & Metastatic conditions of the spine.

8. Patients with other systemic disorders and serious illness.

9. Pregnancy

10. Patients of uncontrolled DM and Hypertension.

11. Patients with congenital anomalies.
