Inclusion Criteria
- Age >= 18 year-old
- singleton
- < 14 week gestational age
- Hb >= 11 mg/dL, mcv >= 80, DCIP - negative
- no thyroid disorder
- no history of Triferdine allergy
- understand and well-communicate Thai
Exclusion Criteria
- previous iron supplement in this pregnancy
- previous blood transfusion
- abnormal bleeding from any sites
- thalassemia traits/disease or thyroid disorder
- smoking or chronic lung disease
- iron, iodine or folic acid allergy
- poor compliance
- aborted or delivered before 28 week-gestation
- Forgot to take Triferdine more than 80%
