Inclusion Criteria
- •weight 50 kg to 70 kg
- •ASA I and II
- •Elective surgery requiring tracheal intubation
Exclusion Criteria
- •inadequate mouth opening ( \< 2\.5 cms),predicted difficult airway,intraoral pathology,cardio\-respiratory disease (hypertension, chronic obstructive airway disease, ischaemic heart disease), cerebro\-vascular disease, reflux oesophagitis, a history of sore throat within the past 10 days or complaints regarding difficulty in opening the mouth.
