Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Adult patients between the age of 18\-65 years scheduled to undergo elective lower limb orthopaedic surgery under spinal anaesthesia.
- •2\.Patients belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologists(ASA) physical status I or II.
- •3\.Patients in whom anticipated duration of surgery \<2 hours.
- •4\.Patient height between 150\-175cms.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients having skin infection at the site of subarachnoid block.
- •2\.Patients with thrombocytopenia/bleeding disorders/coagulopathy.
- •3\.Patients with h/o hypersensitivity to study drug.
- •4\.Patients having a neuromuscular/neurological disease.
- •5\.Patients having spinal deformity.
- •6\.Patients with cerebral palsy and mental retardation.
- •7\.Patients who are using any opioid/sedative medication.
- •8\.Patients with a h/o alcohol or drug abuse.
- •9\.Patients having a BMI \>30kg/m2\.
