Inclusion Criteria
All junior residents who have joined/will join Master of surgery (MS), General Surgery course in January and June 2023 sessions in JIPMER Hospital.
Exclusion Criteria
1.Residents who are not willing to participate/withdraw the consent
2.Residents who leave the residency during the study period.
3.Primary investigator will be excluded from the study.

Name Time Method To assess the change in surgery residents’ perceived workload over time during outpatient department, emergency, operation theatre duties and academic tasks using NASA-TLX index.Timepoint: 1ST SEMESTER OF BATCH JULY 2023 <br/ ><br>3RD, 4TH, 5TH SEMESTER OF BATCHES JANUARY AND JUNE 2023 <br/ ><br>6TH SEMESTER OF BATCH 2023.

Name Time Method 1.To do the subscale (mental demand, physical demand, temporal demand, performance, effort, and frustration) analysis of the perceived workload for each task. <br/ ><br>2.To analyze the association between the Surgery residents’ perceived workload and work performance assessed by the objective scale. <br/ ><br>3.To find out the factors associated with the level of perceived workload. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 1ST SEMESTER OF BATCH JULY 2023 <br/ ><br>3RD, 4TH, 5TH SEMESTER OF BATCHES JANUARY AND JUNE 2023 <br/ ><br>6TH SEMESTER OF BATCH 2023.
